Chapter House Pyx Chamber found at the glorious Westminster Abbey. These proudly stand as one of the world’s most famous and historic places of worship.
The Chapter House was built in 1250 for daily use by the Benedictine monks. Later it was used for meetings of the King’s Great Council and then later by the members of the House of Commons.
Pyx Chamber was built circa 1070. It has a medieval tiled floor and a 13th century stone altar.
