St Patrick Day Festival Parade-London is now in its 13th year, usually held on the Sunday closest to 17 March every year in Trafalgar Square.
St Patrick Day Parade and Festival- how it’s celebrated
On the eve of St Patrick Day, the parade begins at Green Park, proceeding through central London until it gets to Trafalgar Square. It showcases the best of Irish music, song dance, film, culture and arts. It attracts more than 100,000 people.
At Trafalgar Square it creates a sea of green, white and orange in central London, providing a colourfully vibrant reminder of London’s great diversity. It’s organised by the Mayor of London with the support of many Irish businesses.
