Wembley Temple, as well as Leytonstone temple, provide a place of worship for all Hindus. These Sanatan Mandirs believe in ‘ the world as one big family i.e Vasudev Kutumbakaum, a Sanskrit phrase found in the Maha Upanishad.
Wembley Temple- background and features
Wembley temple is a very impressive mandir building visited by thousands each year. It showcases the importance of respect, love and compassion for all religions and sampradayas. It makes the temple dynamic and universal.
Wembley Temple was opened to the public on 31st May 2010. The construction of the temple is based on the ancient Hindu Scriptures of the Shilpa Shastras that give guidance in dealing with buildings and sculpture techniques that have been followed in order to form a perfect masterpiece.
Before the Wembley Temple, Leytonstone Shri Nathji Sanatan Hindu Mandir was established in June 1980. It has the deities – Shri Ram, Shrinathji, Shiv Parivaar, Amba Mataji, Jalaram Bapa and Hanumanji.
